SMARCTIC project partner Derry City and Strabane District Council (North Ireland) held 2 local info days on the 10th of May in Foyle Arena (Derry) and 12th of May in Melvin Arena (Strabane).

They showcased a demo of the virtual energy power plant that they have been working on in SMARCTIC to the attendees. The DCSDCs virtual power plant will facilitate better overall energy usage by providing facilities managers with control of their buildings’ energy usage, reducing the time needed to change building settings based on incoming data, providing visibility into operational issues and providing a user interface that will facilitate operational efficiencies and reduction of energy waste.
